Le Règlement (CEE) 1408/71 du Conseil du 14 juin 1971 relatif à l'application des régimes de sécurité sociale aux travailleurs salariés, aux travailleurs non salariés et aux membres de leur famille qui se déplacent à l'intérieur de la Communauté et le règlement n° 859/2003 du Conseil du 14 mai 2003 visant à étendre les dispositions du règlement (CEE) no 1408/71 et du règlement (CEE) no 574/72 aux ressortissants de pays tiers qui ne sont pas déjà couverts par ces dispositions uniquement en raison de leur nationalité.Le règlement n° 883/2004 du Parlement européen et du Conseil du 29 avril 2004 est destiné à remplacer le règlement (CEE) 1408/71.Le Règlement n° 987/2009 applique et définit les concepts du Règlement 883/2204. Le nouveau Règlement CE 883/2004 entrera en vigueur le 1er mai 2010.
